About the Workshop 
Learn from a working Hollywood Casting Director - Mr. Weber conducts cold reading workshops worldwide. 

This cold-reading, intensive workshop is designed for actors ready to gain a current national perspective while sharpening their acting skills.  He will give each actor a scene to prepare and will offer personal direction and guidance that will give the actor insight into the cold-reading process, develop audition skills, and help prepare for a successful career in the industry.

About Paul Weber
Paul Weber, C.S.A. is presently the in-house Casting Director for MGM Worldwide Television and the MGM Feature Casting Consultant. Current casting projects include SPARTACUS for the STARZ Network and the feature film BEULAH starring Dakota Fanning, Josh Lucas and Ryan Phillippe.

 

MGM features in development or release include FAME, HOT TUB TIME MACHINE, THE ZOOKEEPER, RED DAWN, CABIN IN THE WOODS 3D,and THE HOBBIT. His MGM television credits include DEAD LIKE ME for Showtime,and the STARGATE franchise for the SYFY network.

 

Weber is in active development with MGM on new television series, pilots and features. Mr. Weber also casts 3-5 independent films a year. He also presently teaches The Working Actor - Get The Audition - Book The Job, at UCLA. 

 

He is a member of the Casting Society of America and Writers Guild of America.
